HOW DOES PAYMENTS WORK?
I require a 50% non refundable deposit upon booking, this secures your date & overrides other orders. The remaining 50% payment is due at least a week prior to pick up date. Please allow for bank transfer times, weekends & public holidays.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO ORDER?
Wedding cakes I need at least 1-2 months notice to ensure I can source supplies & depending on season what is available. Cake's or cupcakes can vary depending if I'm busy with orders 1-4 weeks notice, again to make sure I can get any products I may need from my suppliers.
DO I CREATE FONDANT CAKES?
No I don't, I use buttercream between layers, covering & piping details. Why not? It's just something I particularly don't like eating, so I won't work with it.
CAN I PROVIDE YOU WITH TOPPERS, FLOWERS OR ANYTHING I'D LIKE TO ADD?
Yes of course, although if it's something I can source (macarons, mama's donuts) then I am willing to arrange for you on your choices of flavours etc.
DO I DELIVER?
Yes I do at a small charge. Papamoa & Mount Maunganui $5 Tauranga $10 Bethlehem, Tauriko, Pyes Pa $15
DO I CATER FOR SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Unfortunately not as of yet.
CAKE TRANSPORTATION:
I always advise for you to bring a passenger to ensure your order gets to your destination in one piece. If you are alone then I recommend placing your order on the passenger floor with a blanket or rug for grip. I know crazy huh, but it's much safer then your angled passenger seat.
CAN I CANCEL A ORDER AFTER PAYMENT?
Yes you can, although upon booking I require a 50% non refundable deposit which secures this specific date. If you have made full payment, I will refund the remaining 50% back to your nominated bank account or it can be used as a credit if you would like to place an order at a later date.
CHANGE OF DATE:
Yes, dates can be changed. Although this will occur a $15 fee to do so If I am available for your new date.
In the event I am unavailable for your required date & the new date is less than 30 day notice a refund will not be issued.
WHEN CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER?
The night before collection I will arrange a time for you to collect.
WHAT IF I'M SICK OR I CAN'T FULFIL YOUR ORDER?
In the rare event I am unable to complete your order I will refund the entire amount you have paid including the non-refundable deposit.
PAYMENT METHOD:
I only accept bank transfer as this is the easiest option for both you & I. I confirm all payments recieved to ensure you your transfer has been received.
DO YOU DO PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes I do, once we have agreed upon dates & amount due. If your first payment is less then the 50% non refundable deposit, it acts if it was a non refundable deposit. Example: Order cost of $100, $20 first payment (non refundable deposit) $20 second payment (non refundable deposit) $20 third payment $20 fourth payment $20 fifth payment
HOW LONG WILL MY CAKE LAST/HOW DO I STORE IT?
Bench/fridge life your cake can last up to 3-4 days depending if you let it sit there that long. You can cut & also freeze for up to 3 months. It's best stored into the fridge & before serving let it sit out to soften the buttercream. Time dependent on your fridge cooler. Do not leave your cake in the sun or heat as the buttercream will melt & become a mess.
